Privacy
When you choose an address, we briefly use it to get map coordinates and the street you are on.Door numbers and full addresses never enter street-name analysis and are not stored.
Gemini only receives suburb names, road names, and public sources used to explain those names.
Share images hide your street by default and never show door numbers or precise home locations.
Data lifecycle
- 1. Address selection:Your browser shows the full address you chose.
- 2. Locate:The server uses the Place ID to fetch only needed fields (coordinates, street, suburb).
- 3. Privacy scrub:Door numbers, full addresses, and raw responses are deleted immediately.
- 4. Analyse:Later steps only receive street names, suburb, and de-identified coordinates.
- 5. Clear:When the request ends or the temporary task expires, all temporary data is deleted.
What we do not do
- Do not store full addresses or door numbers
- Do not store Google formatted addresses
- Do not store precise home coordinates
- Do not link user IP to an address record
- Do not send precise coordinates to the AI
- Do not show full addresses on share images
Third-party services
This product uses the following third-party services, each with its own privacy policy:
- Google Places API — address autocomplete and geocoding
- OpenStreetMap / Overpass API — road geometry data
- Wikidata / Wikipedia — background on street names
- Google Gemini API — theme analysis of street names
